Our Very First Ever Vintage Fair

We held our very first ever stall at The Vintage Threads, Vintage fair at Manchester's Exchange Square today. It was lot's and lot's of fun, so I thought I'd just spare a wonderful day.
There was a lady with a stand opposite ours and she had the most incredible cupcakes, I had to have one and it was so delicious, Jen loved them so much she bought 4. I have a terrible sequin addition at the moment and bought a myself a top from one of the other stalls. Also I found some little gems at the fair I will be adding to our eBay shop soon.
I popped up some photographs of our stand and my scrummy cupcake. Would you believe the Streaking Scarlett banner took me & Jen 6 hours, but it was worth the effort we got loads of compliments.

Streaking Scarlett Vintage Fashion Editorial: Part One

This weekend I was working with Nick Bentham on our A/W editorial. It's the first fashion editorial we have done and it was so much fun. Dressing up our gorgeous girls in pretty vintage clothes while sipping tea.
The day started off
in Nick's flat taking photo's of the girls in sexy sequins. Then we headed on location taking snaps of the girls in the gritty back streets of the Northern Quarter.

For those of you who don't know, as well as running Streaking Scarlett Vintage I study Textiles at Manchester School Of Art and my current obsession is knitting! And I have been researching designers who knit for a living. I came across this guy Mark Fast at LFW and I am in love with his work. I read in an interview that he hand knits very piece on domestic knitting machines, this guy must have the patience of a saint, anyway I hope you all enjoy his work as much as I do, Lauren. x .
